Arizona Cardinals (4-11) at Atlanta Falcons (5-10)

  • Channel: FOX
  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

The first of 14 NFL games today takes fans to Atlanta, where the Atlanta Falcons host the Arizona Cardinals. Both franchises have been eliminated from playoff contention in the NFC, so the stakes in this game aren’t necessarily too high. However, Atlanta hopes to continue to see growth from a very young roster over the next two games.

The Cardinals, meanwhile, are stuck in quarterback limbo. Starting QB Kyler Murray is out for the season after tearing his ACL in Week 14. Additionally, backup QB Colt McCoy has been sidelined with a concussion since Week 15.

Arizona started Trace McSorely a week ago, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury is choosing to go with his fourth starter of the season, David Blough. While this game doesn’t mean much, the announcement of Blough’s start tied the NFL record for most QBs to start in a season at 64.

Chicago Bears (3-12) at Detroit Lions (7-8)

  • Channel: FOX
  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

The first divisional game of Week 17 features an NFC North matchup between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. Detroit’s hot streak finally ended as the Carolina Panthers pounded the rock to their heart’s content. The 37-23 loss was disappointing, but with a week to regroup, head coach Dan Campbell and company have a chance to rebound against the Bears with a playoff spot still available.

MORE: NFL Week 17 Predictions

Chicago has lost eight straight, including a one-point loss to the Lions at home. Don’t expect the score to be as close this time around. While both defenses are the worst in allowing opponents to score, Detroit’s offensive performance at home in 2022 has been astonishing. In eight home games, the Lions have scored 32.1 points compared to 19.2 on the road. Expect a high-scoring affair as Detroit attempts to set up a crucial Week 18 matchup with the Green Bay Packers.

Denver Broncos (4-11) at Kansas City Chiefs (12-3)

  • Channel: CBS
  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

The divisional run continues with an AFC West duel between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs. Before whatever happened last week between Denver and the Los Angeles Rams, Kansas City’s offense had scored the most points against Denver’s defense all season. Viewers should expect a similar outcome, given how these two squads have performed since their Week 14 meeting.

Kansas City has continued to look dominant over the past two weeks, and nothing should change for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs juggernaut besides playing at home this time. Meanwhile, Russell Wilson gets to make the trip and play in Arrowhead for the second time in his career. While he’s hoping to get his first win, those chances don’t seem too high.

Miami Dolphins (8-7) at New England Patriots (7-8)

  • Channel: CBS
  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

A third divisional showdown takes us to AFC East action between the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Alarms are starting to ring in Miami after an 8-3 record has been whittled down to 8-7 due to a disappointing four-game losing streak. QB Tua Tagovailoa has not looked the same and entered concussion protocol for the second time this season following Miami’s Christmas Day loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The Patriots have been withstanding a skid of their own after dropping consecutive contests. They sit on the outside looking in, one game behind Miami’s seventh-seed status. If New England wins out, they are playoff bound. If the Patriots beat Miami but lose to the Buffalo Bills in Week 18, New England needs a win from the New York Jets. Let’s see what Dolphins QB Teddy Bridgewater has to say about all of this.

Indianapolis Colts (4-10-1) at New York Giants (8-6-1)

  • Channel: CBS
  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

The next matchup on the Week 17 NFL Games Today schedule sees the Indianapolis Colts heading to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants. The Giants were a 61-yard field goal away from giving the Minnesota Vikings a run for their money in overtime. The similarities between Giants’ and Vikings’ seasons are ever-present. Unfortunately, the Giants just got the short end of the stick. It would be jaw-dropping to see them stumble in back-to-back weeks.

After that initial win against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Jeff Saturday stint in Indianapolis has not gone well. Between surrendering the largest lead in NFL history and putting Nick Foles’s ghost on the field, Saturday’s decision-making has been questionable, at best. The Giants should get the win they need to clinch their playoff berth.

New Orleans Saints (6-9) at Philadelphia Eagles (13-2)

  • Channel: FOX
  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

The next scheduled game sees the New Orleans Saints heading to Lincoln Financial Field to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. Thankfully for QBs Andy Dalton and Taysom Hill, rookie WR Chris Olave returns to the field after being sidelined last week with a hamstring injury. The Saints also see some critical defensive players join the fold, but will all of this be enough to take down the 13-2 Eagles?

It’s a tall task, as the Gardner Minshew-led Eagles fell just short of the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16. Minshew was good in relief of Jalen Hurts, throwing for 355 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Some more time with the first string unit should iron out some kinks and help limit some mistakes from a week ago. The Saints’ playoff chances could end this week as the Eagles clinch the NFC’s top seed.

Carolina Panthers (6-9) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-8)

  • Channel: FOX
  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

Another divisional matchup features an NFC South showdown between the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The story is the same for both teams, win out, and you are in the playoffs. Alright, it’s a little easier for Tampa, as they currently have the one-game lead, but a win this week by Carolina brings the two franchises even, with the Panthers holding the tiebreaker.

Head coach Steve Wilks has done a great job maximizing the potential of this roster and unlocking a fearsome rushing attack. Carolina’s offense has been much more consistent over the past few weeks compared to Tampa Bay’s. This is sure to be an enthralling divisional game.

Cleveland Browns (6-9) at Washington Commanders (7-7-1)

  • Channel: FOX
  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

Cleveland may be out of the playoff hunt, but the Washington Commanders are still in the thick of the NFC Wild Card race. Carson Wentz makes his seventh start of the season after sitting behind Taylor Heinicke for the last nine games. While the Commanders were winning, it seemed like it was off the back of the defense and offensive playmakers rather than QB play. Washington decided to make a change in a two-game rut with a Wild Card berth still in play.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns are hoping Deshaun Watson can knock the rest of the rust off over the season’s final two weeks. While the playoff chances were slim at the time of his reinstatement, Watson has displayed poor performance since returning from his suspension. With Cleveland’s offense hardly able to score points, the Commanders might get away with a low-scoring win to bolster their postseason chances.

Jacksonville Jaguars (7-8) at Houston Texans (2-12-1)

  • Channel: CBS
  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

The final game in Week 17’s 1 p.m. ET window features another divisional tilt between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans. The Jaguars have clawed their way back to first place in the AFC South because of a ridiculous number of injuries and roster shuffling for the Tennessee Titans.

Houston makes teams shake in their boots until the final minutes when the Texans inevitably collapse. Houston won its second game of the season against the Titans in Week 16 after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys by one possession apiece. Houston’s only other win this season? 13-6 in Week 5 against Jacksonville. The sweep seems unlikely, but crazier things have happened.

San Francisco 49ers (11-4) at Las Vegas Raiders (6-9)

  • Channel: FOX
  • Start time: 4:05 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

The first of the late afternoon games begins at 4:05 ET in Sin City as the San Francisco 49ers take on the Las Vegas Raiders. The Derek Carr era has possibly ended after HC Josh McDaniels benched the veteran QB following an awful Sunday Night Football performance. Jarrett Stidham takes over under center for the Raiders, whose playoff chances are slim to none.

MORE: Teddy Bridgewater Can Still Lead the Miami Dolphins to the Playoffs

The 49ers keep winning. Despite rookie Brock Purdy playing in his fifth game and making his fourth consecutive start, the 49ers continue to roll as they ride an eight-game win streak. If the Eagles continue to falter and the Vikings get a surprise, the 49ers could find themselves going into the playoffs as the first seed in the NFC.

New York Jets (7-8) at Seattle Seahawks (7-8)

  • Channel: FOX
  • Start time: 4:05 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

Two teams on the outside of the playoffs looking in, the New York Jets make a cross-country trip to take on the Seattle Seahawks. Back to the bench for Zach Wilson as the former second-overall pick has likely taken his last snaps with the Jets. Mike White returns to the offense not a moment too soon, with New York fighting to get a postseason berth. Robert Saleh’s defense continues to be impressive this season, as they need some offensive support.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks are on their downward spiral, dropping three games in a row and falling out of the wildcard. While games against the Chiefs and 49ers are never easy, Geno Smith has regressed a bit from his awe-inspiring season. Can Smith expose the Jets’ defense, or will Gang Green show that both New York teams belong in the postseason?

Minnesota Vikings (12-3) at Green Bay Packers (7-8)

  • Channel: CBS
  • Start time: 4:25 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

A rematch of one of the most stunning games this season occurs as the highly anticipated NFC North matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET. Minnesota beat the Packers 24-7 when these squads faced off in Week 1. The Packers looked lost, Aaron Rodgers had two turnovers, and the whole team appeared out of sync.

While the Vikings have continued to win this season, often in dramatic fashion, 2022 has been a season of growth for Green Bay. After struggling to find any offensive cohesion early on, the RB duo of Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon has found its groove while rookie WRs Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs have finally developed a connection with Rodgers. This will be a close game, par of the course for Minnesota, but watch out for Green Bay to spoil the fun in Lambeau.

Los Angeles Rams (5-10) at Los Angeles Chargers (9-6)

  • Channel: CBS
  • Start time: 4:25 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

Many hoped the second Battle for Los Angeles would be more competitive. However, given the trajectory of the Rams’ season, it’s surprising they have five wins coming into Week 17. The Chargers struggled in Week 16 against a subpar Colts team, but a win is a win.

Given the current state of the Rams, look for Justin Herbert and the Chargers’ offense to treat this matchup as an offensive tuneup ahead of Herbert’s first trip to the NFL playoffs. Baker Mayfield has been impressive for the Rams since being signed in Week 14, and, depending on Matthew Stafford’s long-term plan, could have played himself into a roster spot next season.

Pittsburgh Steelers (7-8) at Baltimore Ravens (10-5)

  • Channel: NBC
  • Start time: 8:20 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: NBC Sports, Peacock TV

The final matchup on the Week 17 NFL Games Today schedule features the last divisional game with an AFC North battle between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. In a flexed game, the Steelers might still have a shot at a Wild Card berth. If so, expect another classic entry into this storied rivalry.

MORE: Why the Cincinnati Bengals Are Set to Repeat as AFC Champions

Tyler Huntley starts his fourth straight game as Baltimore has weathered the storm without Lamar Jackson. The Ravens’ playoff spot is safe, but knocking an AFC North rival out of playoff contention would only be a bonus. Don’t expect the Steelers to go down without a fight as rookie QB Kenny Pickett returns under center. This should be the perfect way to end a jam-packed day of NFL action.
